Who we are
Aurilis Solutions Limited · Registered in England and Wales, number 16765551 · 21 Agincourt, Ascot, SL5 7SJ. We decide how the information below is used. Write to chris@aurilis.io with any question about it.
When you visit
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes the technical data needed to deliver this site and keep it secure: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. To keep automated traffic out, it may ask your browser to pass a brief check and store a short-lived cookie showing it passed. This is strictly necessary for the site to work and needs no consent.
Your cookie choice is kept in your browser's storage so the question is not asked again on every page. Nothing about it is sent to us.
Analytics, only if you accept them
If you accept analytics in the cookie settings, we measure how the site is used, to improve it. Vercel Web Analytics counts the page you open, the page you came from, your country, region and city, your device type, operating system and browser, and the time. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast each page loads and responds, with the page address, your device type and connection speed. We see only totals, and we remove anything after a ‘?’ in the page address before it is sent.
Google Analytics, run by Google, measures the same things across visits: the pages you open and how you reached them, your approximate place, device and browser. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by our property's code, each kept for up to two years, and Google may process the data outside the UK under its data processing terms. If you later reject analytics, we switch Google Analytics off in your browser and remove its cookies.
We rely on your consent. If you reject analytics, or never choose, none of this runs. You can change your choice at any time, here or from the cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
Private preview pages
If we sent you a link to a private preview of a website, the preview page asks for the code we gave you. Entering it sets two cookies: one keeps you signed in for a day, and one recognises your browser so the code cannot be passed on to more browsers than we allowed. Each visit made with the code is recorded with your approximate place (city and country), device type and browser, so we know the preview was opened. We keep these records only to follow up on that preview.
When you contact us
If you email us, write through a form on this site or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your name, your address or number, your message and anything you attach, through the provider that carries it: Google Workspace for email and for messages from the forms once they reach our mailbox, and WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms. We use it to reply and, if we work together, to run that work, and keep it as long as that and our legal records require.
Your rights
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Our providers act on our instructions, and some process data outside the UK under the safeguards their data processing terms provide. Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, erase it, restrict its use or stop using it. Write to chris@aurilis.io; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
